Throughout the year students at Cleveland District State High School battle it out between their houses (Russell, Moreton, Macleay and Peel) in three Interhouse Carnivals. The year kicks off with the interhouse swimming carnival early in term 1 followed by the cross-country towards the end of term 1 and the athletics carnival at the end of term 2. These carnivals provide an opportunity for students to gain selection into the associated Bayside district teams and possibly achieve selection into Metropolitan and State level teams.
