Students have the opportunity to learn French, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Jandai from Year 7 to 12.
The school has a Language Centre where students have the opportunity to video conference with students from anywhere in the world as well as sophisticated language software which is accessible to all students.
Overseas tours to Asia and Europe, as well as regular visits by students from overseas, provide opportunities to improve language proficiency.
We are a Confucius Classroom school supported by Confucius Institute Queensland University of Technology (CIQ) and Nanjing Normal University (NNU).
Language classes are conducted by the University of the 3rd Age (U3A) program at our Community Language Centre. Currently these are in German and Japanese. Other languages may be offered to meet community needs.
