Staff and students of Cleveland District State High School would like to invite you to become involved in our school community. Below are some of the areas that you may wish to become involved, the contact person and their direct phone number.   • Canteen - This operates on a four weekly cycle. If you are able to assist in our canteen, please indicate your availability by completing the Reply Form included with the Enrolment Forms.  Canteen Convenor - Karen Cranidge (Phone: 3824 9214 Mobile: 0468 901 225).
  • Learning Assistance Program (LAE) - Members of the community are invited to assist the Learning and Enrichment department in the following ways: in class support in many areas from Art to Manual Arts, Home Economics to Agriculture, assisting students with assignments and basic literacy and numeracy and/or enrichment programs. Learning Support Teacher –Denise Sung (Phone 3824 9220).
  • Library - Volunteers assist in the library by covering books and completing general duties. Teacher Librarian - Sharon Hendy Moman(Phone 3824 9277).
  • Cleveland High Instrumental Music Programme Supporters  - Volunteers assist with the development of the music programme in the following ways - resource preparation and construction, uniforms, steering committee for major events, assist with production of concerts, coordination and facilitation of major fundraising to purchase major resources.  Deputy Principal Performing Arts Precinct - Grant Mitchell (Phone 3824 9222).
  • Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) - Community members are invited to attend at least one meeting as a minimum during the year. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month in Innovation Centre.  President P&C – (messages may be left at the school).
  • School Council - School Council meets once a month with a broad representation of parents, students and other members of our school community. These meetings are held on the third Monday of each month in R Block starting at 4.00pm and concluding at 5.30pm. Dates of meetings are advertised in the February newsletter.  Deputy Principal – Robyn Przewloka (Phone 3824 9222).
  • Chaplaincy – The whole Chaplaincy programme is community funded and supported by donations. Members of the community are invited to attend meetings, join a prayer group, assist with fund raising help with in-school activities, become a voluntary religious education teacher or represent Chaplaincy at the P&C meetings.
