We understand our international students (especially our Study Abroad students) wish to visit as many special locations in Queensland and Australia as possible whilst studying at Cleveland District State High School. Our school is ideally located on the beautiful Redlands Coast . North Stradbroke Island Traditional name Minjerribah, nickname - Straddie is a short water taxi ride away and departs from the Cleveland Ferry Terminal.
Many students like to visit 'Straddie' on the weekend to swim at the lifesaver patrolled beaches or the view sea life (whales, dolphins, turtles) from The Gorge Walk. To the south, students can travel by train to the Gold Coast and to the north, the Sunshine Coast. Our school is also perfectly located with easy bus and train access to Brisbane City (The River City). Click on the links to find out more about our special part of the world.
