​Cleveland District State High School is committed to the intellectual, social and emotional development of all of our students. We are a learning community devoted to the creation of a safe, supportive environment where all students are welcomed, valued and individual differences are respected. We build positive, meaningful relationships within our school and the wider community. 

Our school has a proud tradition of contributing to the development of active, compassionate, lifelong learners who have developed the confidence and abilities necessary to face the challenges of our rapidly changing society.  Our caring staff are dedicated to the delivery of an engaging curriculum to empower students to be on a pathway for success at school and in life.

 Our Crest

The school’s crest was created in 1956 by foundation staff,students and the community. It symbolises that we are a place of learning in our community with strong connections to the history and culture of Cleveland. 

We respect the traditional custodians of the land, the Quandamooka people, and seek to develop an understanding of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our students.

Our Mission

We deliver an equitable world-class education as a proud Queensland State School. We are unique in Redland City because we offer multiple, distinct pathways and excellence programs for our students to achieve their best in order to meet the future. We are passionate about designing relevant and meaningful learning experiences, utilising a wealth of incredible resources in innovative ways.

We are leaders in developing global perspectives to provide students with a deeper understanding of our world, enabling them to become active citizens. We are recognised in Australia as a pioneer in the utilisation of digital resources and tools to create unique learning opportunities for our students.
