How do I apply to enrol at Cleveland District SHS?

Submit the completed Enrolment Pack, including all supporting documents, as outlined on the enrolment checklist at the front of the pack.

Once all documents are received, the application will be forwarded to the Executive Principal for consideration.

In recent years Cleveland District SHS has experienced significant growth and we operate in accordance with an Enrolment Management Plan. This Plan ensures that students who live within the 'catchment area' are guaranteed a place at their local high school and allows students from outside our catchment to apply for enrolment and be considered using a fair process.

Who can attend Cleveland District SHS?

All students living in the catchment area in Years 7 - 12. Proof of residence within the catchment area must be provided.

What if I live outside the boundary/catchment area?

You should fill out the catchment exemption form in this pack. This will be considered by the Enrolment Committee.

Is there academic testing for the Year 7 Academic Excellence Program?

Entry into the Academic Excellence program is competitive, with places awarded based on Year 6 performance, NAPLAN results, and positive effort and behaviour comments on primary school report cards. Applications for the academic program are open to families both within and outside our catchment area.

My child has a disability. How can I enrol my student?

Students with a disability have an adjustment process where applicable. These families may meet with the year level Deputy Principal to discuss support strategies.
